So what ended up happening here? Did the 2013 team in fact recruit better players, or is the team mostly made up of kids who were playing NCSL 6th or 8th division or whatever? I think we actually know a kid who was on the NCSL team the year before and did not make the MLS Next 2 team for this year. But not sure if that was an anomaly or if they did not offer a spot to a lot of players that were on their existing team? [/quote]

They are having extreme difficulty fielding any teams from 2013-2016 in NCSL grouping some age groups together. To add, they are hoping to play in other leagues outside of that and even if they do they won’t be competitive at all. Its laughable. [/quote]

? I see 16 boys teams from 2013-16 in NCSL. How would they go from that to not being able to field teams?

The MLS Next 2 teams are not doing too bad. The 2014 teams seem to be struggling in their league this year. Not sure how many of them are staying with STJ or leaving? Pretty sure my son saw a few of them at other tryouts. [/quote]
