Someone just excused me of not knowing how to organize. I am a community organizer. You need to fix the problem in the Demcoratic party and then you’ll be able to get everybody on board. Until you do that you can have all the No King rallies you want. You’re not going to attract people beyond your own kind.
Thank you for organizing. Your frustration is valid, but there is another layer to protests. Not sure if you’re aware that an economic strike is happening organically. A hidden strike is already disrupting the economy using a bottom-up approach. People have just stopped participating in the market, rather than waiting for authorized work stoppages. A cumulative, slow withdrawal of labor and consumption encourages less spending. If a third of the population reduces their consumption by 10% for over a month, it will make a substantial impact. Organizers: https://generalstrikeus.com/ is coordinating a national general strike by gathering "strike cards" to build a national shutdown strategy. Fasting Fridays encourages no spend Fridays, supporting only small, local businesses and marginalized communities. Its initiative is aimed at protesting white nationalism, corporate power, and influencing government policy on ICE raids. Day of Truth and Freedom is similar to the March 2026 ICE Out strike. A national shutdown to protest federal immigration actions and support a general strike structure. The People's Union continues promoting economic blackouts. All of Us promotes a comprehensive halt to consumer spending and impacting corporate profits. Unions and independent activists resurged in 2025-26 with a +13% increase in workers involved in major stoppages.
Sounds downright marxist. "The People's Union"?
