Memphis has the highest per capital crime rate in the entire country.

It is primarily Memphis. Nashville has seen an uptick. Progressive policies have not helped but the national guard in Memphis made a difference.  We will see what that does to crime stats in a few months. [/quote]

No, it’s not primarily Memphis.  Memphis is only 10% of the population…you don’t have the 3rd highest crime rate as a state due to one city that’s 10% of the population.

Go it…but that’s still only 15% of the population and I would imagine there are safe suburbs of Memphis that are in Shelby county.

PP here. I'm not denying what you've said about the comparison between TN and VA. Just pointing out the obvious about Memphis and Shelby County. [/quote]
