It seems like he is bringing a new perspective with an emphasis on interdisciplinary studies something Hamilton does well. I will say the previous president did increase Hamilton's endowment, lowered its acceptance rate and pushed it up a couple spots of the US News ranking (ahead of Colgate and Colby). Hamilton will never be Williams, but it is in a solid position with an upward trajectory.[/quote]
