This will be strong winds and hail, possibly tornados. It's conditions that warrant staying off the road. Not only due to the risk of being on the road, but the risk of being stranded once you get there due to downed trees blocking roadways. The forecast could change tomorrow, so I don't think anything should be called off now or even tonight. But unless they downgrade the threat, I predict schools will announce by 10 am that they are closing early. [/quote]
