Your ignorance is ridiculous and I am not PP from Metro Swim.  Aquablades are a performance suit that are approved for 12&U.  They are expensive too.  Kids will wear them when they are not wearing tech suits.  The suit is supposed to channel and repel water.  It is a ridiculous choice for a summer rec league - for price alone.  If DR could get everyone in a $400 tech suit I am sure that they would.  But, not just DR.  All of them.  There are teams that collect club swimmers gently used tech suits so the non-club swimmers will be able to swim in the dual meet in a tech suit.

That is not summer league.   It is ridiculous.  Fox Hunt will have 25 kids in tech suits for a Saturday morning.  WHY?  No kid is going to college on NVSL times.  It is crazy.[/quote]

Personally, I love it when kids wear aquablades, skins, tech suits for regular old A meets. It gives them a false sense of security, so when the actually fast club swimmers suit up for Divisionals/All Stars they don’t know what hit them. [/quote]

LIsten to how you are talking about A KID.  A KID WHO IS BUYING THE SUIT THAT THEIR PARENTS BOUGHT THEM.  BECAUSE JUST LIKE YOU THEIR PARENTS ARE CUCKOO.  Swim parents make me sad[/quote]
