It doesn't expire as quickly as you think. When my son was a teen, he drank half a gallon of milk per day - I used to joke about buying a cow!
That seems a bit much TBH
My freshman year roommate had the most disgusting eating habits. Just pure trash food and she washed it all down with no less than a full gallon of milk a day. :shudder:
What's wrong with drinking milk? Are you a vegan? Do you eat meat?
come on! a gallon of milk is not healthy normal in any context even body building. It's not drinking milk it's drinking a GALLON!
Exactly. Nothing wrong with some milk in your cofee or with cookies but it is absolutely revolting to lay in bed surrounded by Burger King, Chik Fil'A and candy wrappers slugging milk directly from the gallon jug. Like how mucousy are you? It's gross for a grown adult.
I don't eat any of those things and I drink my milk from a glass, but my husband and I are in our 50s and still regularly drink milk. In my teens and 20s, I drank about 4 glasses a day, but now I only drink 1-2 a day. We are each half Irish by ancestry -- I joke that while some people are lactose intolerant, I am lactose dependent. If I don't drink milk, I get awful stomach aches. I also use it to make rice pudding, bechamel sauce, etc. We also go through tons of cheese, butter and yogurt in our house. We don't go through 16 gallons a week -- more like 3-4 gallons in our house. But growing up in my house, I think my parents easily went through 10 gallons a week when all the kids were teens.
