It absolutely does not count. Even if the Democrat candidate wins, I lose. The party is rudderless. I find myself disagreeing more and more with the loudest voices in the party. Worse, they don’t even see how they hurt the Democratic Party brand even in the face of Trump.

2028 will be a rebuttal against MAGA not because of the Democrats’ platform. A dead cow shouls be able to beat Trump if nominated for the party.

History has show us it will take at least 50 years for the turbulence to end. I’m too old to be able to see that time.

Voting is only step one. Yes it's harm reduction, but I'd say we need some harm reduction right now. So vote, whether you think it matters or not. But don't stop there. Stay on your representatives asses. Pay attention and make sure they know you're paying attention. Get active in your community. We do not need the federal government to do everything. Your local community has needs and helping at that level is going to have the biggest impact on your daily life. Pick an issue and get active. Do not simply complain and give up. That's exactly how everything got so bad. [/quote]

I have been active in my community. Getting rid of Trump is a good thing ans stopping government criminals, but I don’t support the Dems either. It will will be HURRAH! No more MAGA/Trump, but BOO, were left with whatever the heck the Democratic Party has morphed into.

All the Dems ever want to do is take credit for things I’ve started and hold it up as an example for Democratic Party’s political purposes. What I do for my community is for the community not a party. I’m tired of party over real people. It’s like people do things because they want to earn merit badges. Maybe start doing the right things because they are right not because someone is going to notice. [/quote]
