Leadership. That's what we expect. She may not be in office but she has access to a lot of power and she doesn't seem to be doing much with it at a time when leadership is desperately needed. Do you people expect literally anything from the people who seek power from you? She was asking, and will possibly ask again, for the highest office in our country, yet in our country's time of need, she's writing books and giving soundbites while regular Americans are putting their bodies on the line to protect their neighbors.

What are the specific actions you expect?

People are standing in front of cameras and talking.
People are protesting and documenting.
Dem governors are standing up to the threats as best they can.
There isn't a lot that can be done with Congress.

Ro Khanna gets great love and marks from his Californian constituents and he flew to Minneapolis to stand in solidarity with protestors who are, as we know, getting kidnapped, maimed, and murdered. He’s South Asian and progressive and he is willing to put himself at risk on all levels to just be a decent human. I admire him. I also think Sen Van Hollen does Maryland proud. It is POSSIBLE to stand on principle. Neither of these men get the credit they deserve for basic decency. Both could very easily glide to re-election year in and year out but they don’t. The party has actually a lot of people I admire, but the ones who think they need the top 2 national jobs or to be leaders in the Senate and house are always vile.[/quote]
