Yes, I do. Two months ago, I saw an all-white construction crew in WDC. They were out of Pennsylvania. Now, do I know if they are native born Americans, don't know. I only spoke to one, and he had an accent I recognized from my living stint around the Pittsburgh area. [/quote]

My native-born, college-educated (STEM) brother lays shingle. Why is that so hard to fathom? He also does other construction. It’s like if you repeat the myth enough, it will come true. Let’s face it — saying it is a job that Americans won’t do, is soft form of racism, with the subtext that only Hispanics do that work, not Middle Eastern, Native American, Black, White, or Asian. That kind of mindset pigeon holes Hispanics into those low wage jobs — at least long term. There is a bias rhat some other immigrant groups will not work those low wage jobs for long. Ridiculous.[/quote]
