[/quote] I agree...but I remember many kids from Manhattan who in fact just moved back into their old bedrooms and saved some major $$$s before moving out on their own (either renting or buying). One friend just lived at home and bought a little Hamptons bungalow instead. It matters tremendously where the parent homestead may be. The same kids would never have moved back home if their parents lived in Westchester or LI or NJ. [/quote]
