Squat toilet I used to poop (alternatively, I could go to the floor below and use the sit down unit in the hall). Luckily, I had a chambre de Bonne and didn't share the floor with anyone, except the owners who worked for an airline and had their own private toilet. I (grossly) used to pee in the shower in my room, which was weirdly raised a foot off of the floor. Maybe to accommodate the drain? I had a similar situation in my apartment in Edinburgh.[/quote]
