Kids go to school during construction all the time. DS was at Fox Mill while it was under construction, it wasn’t a big deal.
True, but they had organized phases and quads provided. With this project, they will use the two buildings across the street as academic work space possibly, and it shouldn’t be as involved as what Fox Mill underwent.
It was dusty and awful. Bad for my kid with asthma. Also, the drilling and pounding drove the teachers nuts. Prior to the construction, the older kids were in trailers. The logistics to get to the bathrooms was rough.
Crossfield's was great b/c it was just one side of the school at a time.
When Fox Mill was renovated, doors were closed off to the area under construction and temp walls were put up to prevent health and safety hazards. It was similar to that of Oak Hill’s and Crossfield’s as per NIST guidelines in school construction and renovations.
