I wish I moved there instead of my snooty neighborhood. It's diverse, has much cheaper housing, is relatively convenient, and has good public schools. There are some interesting shops and restaurants, particularly ethnic ones. Is it a suburban hellscape? Yes. But so is lots of NoVa.
Good public schools? Are you kidding me? Lewis? Edison? Some of the very worst!!
Lewis did earn the highest rating of “Distinguished” under Virginia’s new School Performance and Support Framework (SPSF).
Sounds like more schools need strip clubs "adjacent" to them.
Not sure what that has to do with the school’s rating, but ok.
Correlation is causation. Lewis' extraordinary rating appears to be a direct result of the strip club adjacency. Other schools that didn't have nearby strip clubs, didn't rate as well. I will need a small grant, preferably in $1 bills, to study this effect more closely.
