Huh? No, federal workers just want to know if they will have a day off or whether they need to use leave or work that day. Usually the president closes the government on 12/26 when it’s a Friday, but federal workers have learned not to expect anything positive this year. [/quote]

Wrong. Well over half of Feds were working and many who were originally furloughed were recalled part way through. I went to school in this area and know a ton of Feds across a lot of agencies and I don’t know one single person who was furloughed for 43 straight days. Most worked as normal.[/quote]
