Can someone explain to me the whole voucher discussion?  Critics think this is really just a pretext to get around separation of church and state in schools, and prop up private religious schools?  Ok, fine, but couldn't families use vouchers to send their kids to, I dunno, a non-religious private school?  And vouchers are government-funded, no?  And since when did republicans want to expand government expenses?  I'd love to pile on to calling out closeted maga-types, but I'd like to understand the logic before I do so.  [/quote]
