A down year? You are probably the same person that has trolled the BSC thread with this stupidity. Get a life and look at the difficulty of their league competition as they “rank” nationally. The team’s prior coach was horrendous and the new coach practically had to start from scratch.

Coaching situation makes sense, but not sure league competition explains the gap in results between this and prior BSC U12 E1 teams, or between this and other current E1 teams. Rankings app has them outside top 200, which seems like an outlier for a first team at Bethesda. Will they pick up any players from the 2013s?[/quote]

Funny, the BSC 2014G E1s last year were never outside the top 200 ever. Hmmm 🤔. Yeah it must be the coach but looks like it’s the current coach, instead. Create an environment of fear and mind games, and you get the results you are seeing now. Last year’s team is broken up by KL and then you blame the previous coach? Pipeline 1-4 and Maryland United 0-2 (I think last year’s team beat them). Struggling in most matches. Pathetic. Play up in a second bracket and still can’t be successful. Stop Blaming a previous coach for this year’s team failures and take responsibility and accountability. This team needs a mentor and leader! Empower and encourage them, not humiliate and destroy them. The emperor (KL, everyone is looking at you) has no clothes and it shows. He needs to Focus on that 2014G second team of his before he loses them too. Rumor has it some are about to bail. Ooppps one just did this week, the smartest thing CB could ever do. But I guess we will blame last year’s coach for that too. Ridiculous. Do better and stop blaming others.[/quote]

I honestly don't know why ANY of the 2014 E2 players would stay. KL and most Bethesda ECNL coaches are known for never promoting from within the club. A bunch of those girls are more than capable of being E1, and have been in the past, but KL will never bring them up. If he puts you on E2, he sees you as E2 long-term, and he only cares about the top teams. Period. I would be shocked if there was not an exodus. [/quote]

Yes, that's the [b]only[/b] "local" alternative to BSC for any 2014 girl. (Potomac is not an alternative for any strong MD girls for other birth years, but I know that's irrelevant for this 2014 thread topic.) Anyone exploring their 2014s should be aware that the team is pretty settled at this point and there are already several girls on the team who barely get any minutes. Just something to keep in mind, although a super strong player transferring could probably break into the lineup.[/quote]

Last year Potomac was strong however the lack of technical ability and relying on athleticism is catching up with them. They just went down to NC in NOV to actually play some good teams and got Rick rolled; 0-3, 0-4, and 1-2. They were on the "struggle" bus and outclassed to be frank. Should have just stayed home and played some friendlies with those kind of results. EDP is not helping their cause either. Bang average teams to include 2015s, hindering player development. Might want to look across the river in VA.[/quote]
