I’m a Democrat and blame illegals for 90% of America’s problems.
Did the immigrants get the NIH research on pediatric brain cancer cancelled. Please provide cites so I can share with parents.
Does anyone really doubt that immigration, more than any other issue, won the election for Trump? Biden’s immigration policy may have be the right thing to do from a moral standpoint (given the state of Venezuela etc.) and may have also even helped reduce inflation, but it was politically idiotic.
so how did it help inflation? from articles I read, immigration helps inflation by lowering wages of US workers. and yet other highly educated folks so that immigration raises wages of US workers. immigration is simply amazing! remember Catherine Rampell at WAPO? WAPO’s favorite globalist. Dedicated to replacing US workers with cheaper labor. don't believe me? - read her articles … On one hand she wants to increase the overwhelming immigration of low wage workers - to reduce inflation by lowering wages of low wage workers. Increasing the supply of workers reduces wages. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/04/11/democrats-missing-real-immigration-threat-workers-economy/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/05/02/immigration-inflation-worker-shortages-labor-costs/ on the other hand, she laments about the low salaries paid to day care workers. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/08/27/child-care-funding-crisis/ Someone needs to teach the Princeton educated Anthropologist about Supply and Demand concepts. but I think she already knows. She is a good example of Democrats that would rather have cheap toys and pay indentured servants cheap pay with no benefits, than have a strong middle class.
