All these Democratic (and one fake Republican) mayors cut the police budget and the only one who got more boots on the ground was America's mayor. Now unless you can convince New Yorkers to vote for another Republican, it's safe to say that any other Democrat would not have significantly increased the police budget. I'm not even sure where they'd find the money unless someone like Larry Ellison provided a donation in exchange for something like NYPD wearing an ADL corporate sponsor patch on their arm. This is why it's stupid to blame some guy who isn't even mayor yet, even if he maintains the status quo of the past 20 years. [/quote]
