Gas leaf blowers are considerably louder and their sound is more penetrating when indoors. Electrics have a higher pitch, but they aren’t as loud and their sound doesn’t carry as much.[/quote] One of the TV channels in DC did a story about leaf blowers last week. They tested a bunch of different brands of gas and electric blowers and several of the electric blowers were louder than some of the gas blowers. [/quote]
