Do you guys find it odd that Dwight did not extend any offers for the last 4 years to Montclair K applicants? It’s meant to be as safety school, right??

The JCC is not hard to get into now, but they place decently well for kids who want to go to private schools. A lot go to public. Some go to Jewish day schools. But I wouldn’t call the JCC a feeder preschool in the same way PCDS and WSMS are, but I would include Montclare on that list.
Just curious - Is Montclare the biggest feeder for Dalton?
Seems so, I haven’t seen 9+ get into one school as Montclare does with Dalton. I know Trevor doesn't and will reject such applicants. I assume those are acceptances? Because the totals per year are huge numbers which are much more than the number of kids at the school, particularly given they send a not insignificant number of kids to public. Even then, some of the numbers seem extremely high.
Yeah, offers. They have a more updated result page on their website. These schools get a feel for who is coming/who is serious, versus who isn't, and probably just waitlist those with limited interest. Basically, they will hear from the preschool director (and Montclare has an exmissions director) if the kid/family is interested or not.
