Seems so, I haven’t seen 9+ get into one school as Montclare does with Dalton.

Dwight probably doesn't like being a safety.  I know Trevor doesn't and will reject such applicants.

I assume those are acceptances? Because the totals per year are huge numbers which are much more than the number of kids at the school, particularly given they send a not insignificant number of kids to public. Even then, some of the numbers seem extremely high.[/quote]

I am not sure it's that odd. These schools get a feel for who is coming/who is serious, versus who isn't, and probably just waitlist those with limited interest.  Basically, they will hear from the preschool director (and Montclare has an exmissions director) if the kid/family is interested or not.[/quote]
