Invade Venezuela?
^^^ BINGO ^^^ This is it. We’re going to wag the dog and invade Venezuela. Venezuela has the largest proven WTI crude oil reserves in the western hemisphere. And TrumpCo. is going to steal it, under the guise of stopping narcotics smuggling. Then phase two of the plan will involve setting up massive penal colonies in the jungle, and shipping American citizens there to disappear them from the US. Basically any outspoken Progressive influencers or thought leaders, journalists, professors, artists and entertainers, activists, anyone caught protesting the king. I expect a few of us here from this forum will find ourselves there, perhaps by next spring. These f**kers are going for the brass ring.
The world is at peak oil demand now or by the latest 2029 because of Chinese EV and green energy. The EVs, wind, solar, etc developed by the Chinese are killing project oil(and gas) demand. This means demand will fall from 96 million a day to 85 in a few years and continue to fall quickly from there. The US is the world biggest producer of oil but it is also the high cost($75-$80). If the Saudi feel they need to realize their oil reserves they will flood the market with cheap oil(like $20-$30 a barrel) to capture volume. Better to sell it at $20 and make a profit vs keep it in the ground and not ever sell it. If Venezuela comes on line it will kill put more downward pressure on oil. Drilling and exploration in the US is near zero right now and no one is planning on expanding because the price of oil is too low to make a profit. Add in 20% cost increases from tariffs(steel, etc). You do not need to call all the generals in to invade Venezuela. You only call them if you are changing the command structure and firing a bunch of them.
