You likely had a virus and your intestinal track/stomach are irritated. Cold brew coffee is going to irritate your stomach if you’ve recently had a virus, even if you didn’t have major symptoms, because it’s acidic. The same with beans. You need to eat a very bland diet for the next week and see how you do.
^This. You need to allow your intestinal track to heal and the only way to do that is to eat very bland/mild food. Be careful of dairy, caffeine, spicy food, and sugar.
. I’ve had zero except toast bananas rice and I’m still Waking up With diarrhea and multiple bouts. No normal poops and sometimes have it before bed or during the night.
Honestly, it sounds like salmonella. My friend had it from a cantalope. After a week of symptoms like your, she went to the ER. She was severely dehydrated. Once she started the correct antibiotics, her symptoms settled. It took 5 months to fully recover.
Thanks - will see what the test shows. Mine is not severe but just every day multiple events and no normal bowel movements whatsoever. Wow- can’t believe your friend took 5 months!
It got to the point that every time she ate, she had to run to the bathroom. After a month of antibiotics, her system was wrecked. It took 5 months to be able to eat normally again. She lost 20 pounds.
