Regardless of who promoted the idea originally, breaking up the US or at least providing regional autonomy makes a lot of sense.  There’s also precedence, for example Quebec/Canada, Catalonia/Spain, Scotland/UK.  Also the voluntary dissolution of Czechoslovakia in the 1990’s.  Honestly it’s the only realistic alternative we have given how hopelessly divided we are along tribal and cultural fault lines.[/quote]

There are two sides of the political spectrum. On one side you have the American people struggling to retain a small fraction of control over their Federal Government. On the other side you have the wealthy and powerful mega-donors who control 99% of our Federal level politicians. Which side are you on? Are you one of the 75 IQ duped fools who think their neighbors are their enemy or are you smart enough to realize who your true political enemy is?
