Oh please - this is always the excuse when DCU loses a game to a non academy club. This is a small soccer world. We all know the kids on the DCU roster. They were not playing their U-17 team in the U-19 game or their U16 in the U-17. They may have been playing a few players up —but  so were the other teams. It’s not a good look to make excuses. Every team has good and bad days…

I know what you're talking about and have seen in in these threads, but I don't think it's the case here.  The teams were literally listed as playing a year up.  Not just the roster excuse thing.  U16s were playing in the U17 division.  [/quote]

U-19 definitely were  not their u-17 team. It was 2007/2008 players- juniors and seniors just like the teams they were playing…most of the players on that team are known. All teams in that division had some juniors playing up…[/quote]
Yes - my son played them a few years ago and they listed it as their u16 playing in the u17 bracket…but they showed up with half u16 and half u17 players. [/quote]
