Tax dollars being used to fund a losing legal battle, after already funding a security detail for the superintendent, raises for central office, additional staff and office renovations for the school board, etc., is very different than spending those dollars in the classroom. It sounds like the PP would like to see tax dollars used to support classrooms, but instead we destaffed hundreds of teachers at the end of last school year, increased class sizes, and are using more of the FCPS budget for anything but classroom support.
