Early 30s guy here dating a early-mid 20s girl. She’s great. Beautiful, interesting smart etc. but she’s more the “alternative” type. Vapes, weed, etc. I on the other hand don’t do those things and work out daily/run/yoga. It’s easy to be hot at 24….but without discipline/a regimen, not so much at 35…so I am concerned about her future. I’ve tried to go on dates with more “fitness/wellness” types - you know, the Pilates/yoga/run club (some combo of that daily) , more basic….but seem to get no interest from that crowd. My assumption is while I am fit I’m not fit enough for them or I’m not rich enough for that crowd. Thoughts?
Are you handsome? Being fit is not enough, especially if you do yoga which is such a turnoff. Of course the girls interested in you smoke pot, you are doing hippie activities.
So true. Guys who do yoga tend to be a bit iffy.
DH does 60 minutes of hot yoga everday, he is far from iffy. I hate yoga, but I definitely enjoy the benefits of him doing it daily. His body is incredible.
Ignore them. Yoga is really popular with a wide spectrum of guys, especially now. Young, old, sporty, hippy, serious work out types and more. I think athletes know it pairs well with their activities and its gaining popularity for its whole body strengthening. Decades ago it was less popular and the few guys were often new agey or just in need of some pain relief. Its not like that at most studios today, just take a class at one with a more broad appeal and see.
+1. The comments from the women above say more about their narrow world than anything else.
