Considering this possibility, it’s imperative that students with medical conditions that may require staff’s attention and assistance be flagged for medical reasons in order to set in motion the Emergency Plan as described in the IHCP. Basically, being "flagged for medical reasons" at FCPS means the school is aware of a student's health needs and is taking steps to ensure they are supported and able to access their education effectively and safely.
