Babson is practically a vocational school. But it works for a certain kind of kid, so great. Bucknell is a traditional LAC with pretty solid outcomes, but certainly not top outcomes by any means.
Babson is hardly a "vocational school." You mustn't be from the Boston area.
A college that solely has a degree in business and doesn't enhance its students with a true liberal arts college environment is...a vocational school. Taking a few writing courses doesn't make you a liberal arts college, and I wish it would shed that distinction. It's a trade school.
Is MIT a trade school?
MIT offers 75+ majors (with hundreds of concentration opportunity within those majors) spread across STEM, business, political science, economics, architecture and humanities. A number of its programs across all these areas are top 5 in the country, with many #1 programs. Babson offers 26 concentrations of which 18 are business concentrations and only a BBA degree. It works for Babson, but you can't compare it to MIT whatsoever. A better comparison is a school like Olin which is 500 kids and offers only three engineering degrees. This also works for Olin and those kids have good outcomes.
