What school does your kid go to? Either way GPA is meaningless in today's America. Being in the Top 10% just means who cheated more with AI. GPA avgs have risen as test scores have dropped. Whether this is admitted or Enrolled its impressive nonetheless as enrolled stats dont drop much at most schools. The schools 25th is higher than Every school in the south's  median thats not Duke, Vandy, or Rice. Its very much those 4 schools and then the others. [/quote]

Do you have link for this? I don't believe they have released the number of students that were admitted this past cycle that were test optional yet (if so, please link)  But, these are the numbers for the previous year.

From Emory 2024-2025 CDS
Total first time, first year admitted and enrolled 1,438
Of those who actually enrolled and submitted test scores:

Submitting SAT Scores 623
Submitting ACT Scores 286 = 909 Total

So, 529 students out of a class of 1,438 were admitted without submitting scores.  That's 37% of the entire admitted class that did not submit test scores.

If you want proof other than word of mouth then you have to wait for the CDS. Schhol GC told after release day that admissions sent a memo stating 84% submitted test scores. Thats 20% higher than the memo they sent out the year before. [/quote]

The poster you responded to cited the CDS from 2024-25 - Emory accepted 37% test optional. It's possible 84% of applicants submitted test scores but Emory preferred a decent amount of test optional kids over test submitted kids.[/quote]

That's why I'm trying to find out where this poster is getting "84% of admitted students this year submitted test scores".  Because that is really far off from where the published CDS for 2024-2025 has it (37% of admitted did not provide test scores).    DP still with no link suporting this claim.[/quote]
