If a very long history of racist behavior and comments as well as cheating contractors, coupled with obviously progressing dementia— on top of the declines of aging strikes you as within the boundaries of the “best (you) can hope for with any given president), well, that’s on you. I hope that most voters have higher standards. I also think that the way money now influences politics has filtered out a lot of wonderful politicians and potential politicians.
