People who have no real life outside of this forum. It is unbelievable I know, but there are actually people in this universe who don’t have professional nor personal lives & choose DCUM as their only outlet. And sadly these people actually feel like Masters when they claim that they can recognize a specific poster’s writing style, etc. They actually are showing off how smart they (think) that they are when in reality they are the perfect illustration of what not to be. When ANYone can recognize another person’s writing style, etc. then that is a clear sign that they need to step away from the online screen + get outside and actually do something.
That is an incomplete sentence. A lot of people spend a lot of time here. There have been threads about wanting to quit, cut back or take a break from dcum. You must be among us, as you commented on this thread and seem to be emotionally affected by the idea that folks can recognize writing styles. That skill is borne out of reading a lot, having a good memory and recognizing patterns. I am on dcum a lot. I can recognize posters by words they use, arrangement of their grammar and themes. I have a busy life. Dcum is an escape for me, it likely is for you, too. I bet at least a couple of people will recognize me from this post. That is fine.
I call you the grammar police poster.
