We could easily field appropriate levels of competition for everyone in this area if the clubs would just come together and join a league with promotion and relegation where the top teams faced each other. The weaker teams would not get smoked and have to drive six hours round trip for that pleasure, too. There really was nothing wrong with the old model, but there was money to be made and everyone wants to claim they are best when in the end the coaches and kids are the same people they would be if the old way had not changed.
