The policies can help both sets of people.

I don't think either type of person should have to take out loans against their housing value or sell their house if there are legitimate programs in place to help.

Obviously both types of people can look for work but there are no guarantees of what you can get.  And a mother with kids has extra expenses.  When my two kids were in a decent daycare, the monthly cost exceeded my mortgage.  Even though the daycare workers weren't paid much above minimum wage and it was a non-profit single location housed at a church in flyover country.[/quote]

You just described American style capitalism. The capital owners are supported by the government to maximize their profits. One way to do so is to pay as low as you can to the workers watching over our precious babies.

And in the years to come our government will simply be unable to support both set of people's because of declining revenue. Our government cannot tax technology one of the prime source of revenues.[/quote]
