No one model or gen was "better" just different strokes for different generations of folks.

My own parents were extremely hands off and I'm not close with them to this day. I don't think we're helicopters but we're definitely far closer to and more involved in the lives of our teens than my parents were. And in my own perspective, our family dynamic feels more functional. To each their own I guess.[/quote]
