Folks always care about that, not sure where you've been.  Not to mention that for new MCPS schools under construction, the principals are usually chosen before the Summer and they are engaging with the community, and the community is getting Facilities update on the progress.

And yet students are in horrible conditions year after year after year.

Schools constantly open before construction is completed.
