A Federal Holiday to commemorate the abolition of slavery in what is now the most powerful country in the world is a whole hell of a lot more than just a dedication to a specific group of Americans. Juneteenth or some other holiday commemorating the end of slavery should have become a Fed Holiday much sooner due to the historically significantly impact of slavery in this country and all around the world.
