The thing is, if Israel thought Iran was still run by true-believing jihadist zealots (as Israel falsely claims to play on Western countries' fears), it wouldn't attack. Israel is taking advantage of the reality that Iran's leaders are moderate and careful in their international relations. The apartheid state is going to destabilize Iran, cause the return of a truly hardline government, and the world will be MUCH worse off for yet another Libya, this time in the heart of the Middle East.

That will happen to us not Israel. Iraq devastated us economically. The oil price crisis in 2008 turbocharged the recession which started in 2006 when oil prices started going haywire when Iraqis started burning oil refineries. The subprime mortgage crisis is falsely blamed for causing the recession but people forget the recession was global not national, and it 100% was linked to oil prices. Not to mention it made Putin rich.
 "The war will pay for itself" turned out to be a pipe dream and Clinton's surplus turned into Bush's major deficits. Iran is an even bigger player than Iraq when it comes to oil prices.

We will get decimated economically once more by such a war.

Israel will end up clean as they will not pay for this war in blood or money and we all know it. [/quote]
