We started with anxiety and then later added ADHD meds when it was clear those where needed. We had already done an evidence based therapy (two actually) and while it helped some, nothing helped like adding meds. FWIW my child's anxiety is not related to ADHD. They can coexist and not be related. I see alot on this board that AHDH can cause anxiety, which is sometimes the case, but not necessarily. [/quote]
