It just never ends with these MAHAs: https://www.newsnationnow.com/health/rfk-jr-maha-pesticides-report-farmers/ Now they want Americans to starve to death by the millions! But not just any Americans; hardest hit will be lower SES folks.
LOL - from your own link - Activists suggest a ban on harmful pesticides like glyphosate and atrazine - Farmers, GOP senators worry new rules could disrupt food production - 70+ lawmakers urge Kennedy, EPA to keep report science-based, not political "Critics fear the report may lead to sweeping regulations on widely used chemicals like glyphosate and atrazine, which are pesticides often targeted by environmental advocates for their health risks." glyphosate = Roundup So now you are championing having that in our food. Once again, the lefties, like the OP must support the exact opposite of what RFK and Trump want and shoot themselves in the foot.
DP. I’m fine with researching ways to reduce pesticide dependence but our food supply depends on it. Boiling down health to “GMO Free” and “Roundup free” is like taking the stupidest element of the progressive left and claiming it for the right. and of course RFK and Trump absolutely gutted the federal agencies that would do the research and are now trying to cut off grants from universities that do the research and policy proposals as well. Not to mention the workplace safety agencies also gutted that would protect the people most at risk from pesticides farm workers). RFK’s bizarre health ideas are nothing more than an opportunistic grafting of a belief system that had some oppositional energy into the Trump machine. RFK and MAHA no more represent the cause of health and nutrition than the whackos in Qanon and Pizzagate represent the cause of child protection.
