Del. Stewart was my DC’s commencement speaker last year. I had never heard of him but thought he was excellent.
LMAO! That guy has me blocked on Twitter. 🤣
Lol, for my scenario, I am pretty sure Alex Tsioris, the guy who found the MoCo show, has me on Twitter. It’s funny because something I said probably was against his opinion. He spoke for WM today I think.
How can you have the MOCO show person and not the Moderately MOCO person as a speaker
Easy Moderately MOCO represents right-wing propaganda. He enjoys blending his vocabulary for the audience of conservative conspiracy theorists. His support for Moms4Liberty makes it clear that we don’t need speakers like him. The term "moderate" is a misnomer in this context.
Disagree. He is very moderate but maybe not by MOCO standards. Wouldn’t that also mean the other guy pushes liberal propaganda?
I agree with you. Moderate democrats are seen as MAGA here in Montgomery County. Again, we need to do away with the political purity tests. We should be sayin we agree with him on some things and disagree on others. But as soon as someone holds just one opinion that's contrary to our own, we dismiss them in their entirety. And that's why we have Trump as president and many super progressive folks here in MoCo who are incompetent at management and operations. We vote all our feelings and none of our logic.
No, Montgomery isn’t exactly what you'd call moderate. A staggering 98 percent of his online posts echo right-wing talking points. He consistently pushes those narratives. During the Board of Education meetings, it was quite something to see him champion Brenda Diaz and Bethany Mandel, neither of whom seemed remotely qualified for the roles. Sure, he occasionally shares football scores, but most of the time, he’s just using fancy vocabulary to push an agenda. Republicans have never genuinely shown concern for their constituents. Not a single Republican in Maryland has demonstrated that they haven’t profited from taxpayer funds, and not one of them has made life better here. Maryland boasts superior schools compared to states like Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama, and Oklahoma. The reason is clear: Democrats are in control, and they recognize that education is key.Dems do not ban books.
