Are there people who don't have Ring cameras now? How is this even still a thing?
Not all of us believe in constant surveillance. I find the fact that 90% of the homes in my neighborhood have cameras to be really messed up. It’s not going to serve you well as we descend into fascist dictatorship. I don’t want to be recorded absolutely everywhere I go.
You don't like to see who is coming up to your door? Strange in this day and age. I am not surveilling anyone, but if you walk up to my door, I would like to see who it is. If you are not approaching my house, you won't be on camera....
I don’t care who is coming to my door. If I’m really curious I look out the window. We have no camera and probably won’t ever get them.
Really? Even when you aren't home? On vacation? You don't want to know if people are coming to your door, dropping off packages, etc.? This tech is so commonplace. I can't even imagine that teens sneaking out is even a thing anymore.
I’m another with no cameras. I wonder if this is generational. I’m 52 and think it’s funny that you can’t imagine anyone living without constant surveillance. I guess if someone leaves something at my door it will be there when it gets back, or it won’t. If I’m expecting it, then I probably won’t be out of town. If something really weird happens I’m sure my neighbors will let me know. The only time I really wanted one was when an animal ate something off my porch — was really curious what kind of animal!!
I am 42 and have zero desire for a camera. I also do not track my kids. I also only want one sometimes to see animals. I was thinking of putting one in my veggie garden to catch our cucumber culprit lol.
41 and same. If I had a real reason to feel like my security was threatened or if I did have a kid that would sneak out, I wouldn’t hesitate to get some set up though. But no far no and I don’t track them either.
