They both view Iran as their greatest threat to hegemonic dominance in the region. The Saudis secretly dislike Jewish people and Israel, but they don’t view them as significant of a threat as Iran. This is why MBS is so opposed to Iran having nuclear weapons. He frames it as “no one in the Middle East should have them”…yet conviently glosses over the fact Israel possesses them.
