As someone who worked for non-profits for near poverty level wages for years, the amount of ignorance (and brainwashing) in this post is astounding.

Welll, my colleagues from that time went on to work at consulting firms, law firms and some run their own businesses.  But, you know, I'm sure you're very familiar with people who've worked at non-profits and then moved into the private sector, so why don't you tell me some of the examples you know.  If you know non-profit staff, you know that most do that work from around age 20-30 and then move on.[/quote]
