Yes, it is ridiculous.  I don't know how to do CPR nor do I care to learn.  I am not a medical professional.  Sure, I would help someone out in an emergency but I'm not learning CPR just in case. [/quote]
I don't know a single parent that doesn't know CPR. You learn infant/child and then recertify for age 12. [/quote]
