Lie! Kashmir is 97.6 percent Muslim and 2.45 percent Hindu. Kashmiri Hindus who were the original residents were ethnically cleansed with dire threats to Convert, Leave or Die ( Raliv, Galiv ya Chaliv blared from mosques), all within the last 30-40 years. I personally know many of these families who had to abandon their houses, businesses and orchards overnight and flee with nothing but clothes in their backs. Many ancient  Hindu temples(Shakti peethas) still exist in Kashmir. [/quote]
