Then he should’ve never run for reelection let alone push to be committee chair! Yes, it’s sad that he is dying. And it’s unfortunate that Pelosi put him in a position where he had to put his health on the back burner to feed her ego and not let AOC become oversight leader.

DP.  I guess you've been asleep.  Up until today, Connolly has been a fighter in this role.  He has been fighting every day, more than many other Dems have been.  Now that he is stepping down, we'll see whether his replacement is half the fighter he has been.[/quote]
