Then he should’ve never run for reelection let alone push to be committee chair! Yes, it’s sad that he is dying. And it’s unfortunate that Pelosi put him in a position where he had to put his health on the back burner to feed her ego and not let AOC become oversight leader.

I’ve already called my rep to demand they nominate and support AOC for oversight chair. Please do the same. In fact, if you’re in Connolly‘s district, ask him to recommend she replace him. We need a fighter in this role.

He was in remission when he did. And was transparent with voters. People live in remission for decades. It’s very sad he did not. He’s mt Rep, and he’s been a very good one.  Now that he is no longer in remission, he’s doing the responsible thing.
