Because the links to genetics (including maternal and paternal age) among some of the other links make it look like the parents are at fault. No one wants to be at fault for having a child who the difficulties. The vaccine link makes it look like an outside cause that they could have avoided had they just “known”. They think they can prevent it for any future children or their neighbours.[/quote]
