Same problem here.  Spending always goes up, both parties suck.  But optically, Republicans are cutting some programs and some bureaucrats, and Democrats are objecting to any cuts and any layoffs.  Ballot box poison.  [/quote]

The GOP is cutting programs that make the US great on the world stage, the "soft power" and the regulatory environment that gives businesses and the finance industry "surety" as to the rules of the road. Businesses HATE what Trump is doing. They have no idea what rules they will be playing by, cannot make investments, zero M&A action and now, their European and Asian counterparts are soaking up marketshare which puts the US into an economic death spiral.

Can you name a single program that has been cut that was actual waste, fraud and abuse? If there is fraud, then why haven't charges been levied? And why is it that China and Russia are moving at lightening speed to replace the US in the "soft power" game if the programs were so bad and wasteful?[/quote]
